Group HES has a proud history of supporting apprenticeships, particularly in our engineering division, Branch Hydraulic Systems.
The week commencing 05/03/18 is National Apprenticeship Week and we are proud to be a part of it, through one of our partner colleges, Gloucester College.
This last academic year we took on our first female engineering apprentice, Lillie, who is working for Branch Hydraulic System and attending Gloucester College, studying Mechanical Engineering.
Lillie joined us last summer, with her twin brother Zach, who is also a mechanical engineering apprentice for Branch Hydraulic Systems.
As with all of our apprentices that joined us last year and in previous years, we have been suitably impressed with the development that they have shown in such a short space of time. This is of course down to the individuals but also the support provided by the local colleges.
David Maher, Operations Director, points out in this video, how an Apprenticeship is not the end of the road but the company encourages ongoing development in a career in Engineering.
