Stuart Diesel undertakes toughest challenges yet

Pied Piper Appeal Gloucester Rugby Charity

Our Managing Director Stuart Diesel, a keen cyclist and adventure enthusiast, is undertaking one of his toughest challenges to date!

As part of a team, which includes Gloucester Rugby former players and friends, they are taking on the ultimate UK cycle challenge.  This is to ride 969 miles in 9 days, averaging 108 miles a day, from Land's End to John O'Groats.

The charities that they are cycling for are:

The Pied Piper Appeal

The charity was started in 1992 to improve the lives of sick children in Gloucestershire. Initially created to fund a new children’s hospital for the county, the Appeal now reaches out to help sick children from across Gloucestershire in many different ways.

Gloucester Rugby Community Foundation

The aim is to succeed in making a difference to the lives of many young people, inspiring and motivating them to enjoy a physically active and healthy lifestyle and transforming attitudes to learning through educational initiatives. The Community team visit more than 100 schools across Gloucestershire each season offering sessions to more than 12,000 young people, plus a further 2000 young people will take part in educational sessions held at Kingsholm Stadium.
