Group HES Ltd is excited to announce that on Thursday 12th October 2017, Flowtech Fluidpower plc acquired Group HES Ltd to further strengthen its Power Motion Control (PMC) division.
The Gloucester-based Group HES has been operating for over 50 years and comprises of five different divisions that support and complement each other to provide complete solutions for customers. The five divisions are Hydraulic Equipment Supermarkets, Branch Hydraulic Systems, HES Tractec, HES Lubemec and HES Automatec. All divisions of the company will continue to operate as usual, with phone numbers remaining the same. Contacts for sales, purchasing, technical assistance and accounts will also remain the same.
Group HES is very optimistic about the acquisition and the future that is in store for the company. Whilst Group HES will continue with “business as usual”, they now benefit from the economies of scale that arise from being part of a wider organisation; advantages which will be felt by both customers and suppliers as well.
Group HES will operate with Flowtech Fluidpower’s PMC division and will continue to be managed by the current senior management team. The Flowtech Fluidpower Group will benefit from the acquisition of a well-established and respected business within the fluid power industry, along with Group HES’ long-standing distributorships with leading suppliers, including Danfoss Power Solutions, Parker Hannifin and Bosch Rexroth.

Stuart, who has been with the business for over 20 years, will remain with the Group HES business during a transition period, and in 2018 he will then take up a new role as Divisional Managing Director - Onsite Services for the Flowtech Fluidpower Group
