Role: Electrical Engineer

Group HES is recruiting for an experienced apprentice trained Electrical Engineer to join our staff due to a steady increase of contracted business.
The ideal Electrical Engineer for this role will have the following abilities:
*Read & understand electrical schematics
*Reasonable general level of education
*Electrical wiring, testing, inspection, faultfinding & installation
*Able to design, specify and cost industrial control panels
*Produce/modify electrical schematic diagrams, using AutoCAD Electrical and/or Microsoft Visio and/or Design Spark.
*PLC modification & faultfinding (Siemens)
*Understanding of motors, drives, inverters, valves & pumps
The Electrical Engineer for this role will also have the following experiences:
*Experience as a qualified electrically biased multi-skilled engineer, ideally with 17th Edition wiring regulations
*Ideally an understanding / working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic components
*Experience with PLC fault finding
*Experience working as part of a team
*Working knowledge of plant and machinery and associated control systems
*Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems
*Knowledge of H&S procedures and safe working practices
*Ability to assess risks arising from work and respond accordingly
*Basic report writing
*Working knowledge of Microsoft office systems word and excel
