HES Lubemec, part of Group HES, is looking for an Areas Sales Engineer to join their lubrication team.

HES Lubemec is one of the UK’s largest lubrication companies, specialising in the design, production, supply and installation of SKF/Lincoln Lubrication systems to support the industrial, transport, mining, agriculture, wind energy and construction sectors.

Due to extensive growth across the UK, an opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Engineer to work remotely from our Leeds branch. This is a fast-paced position with no two days ever being the same. Regular travel is required throughout the central belt of England with occasional travel both north and south when required.

Whilst experience dealing with the industrial, transport, mining, agriculture, wind energy and construction sectors is desirable, a keen and enthusiastic approach is a must.

The successful candidate will have the right sales DNA and will be someone who enjoys the sales process.  They should be results driven, with the skills and motivation to be a top-seller in a B2B environment. We are looking for the hunters, consultative sellers and trusted advisors, rather than a regular sales representative, who have a hit-and-run mentality. The successful candidate will be well-disciplined to do their own prospecting, plan their own agendas efficiently and effectively. They must understand the value of sales activity management and know the workings of a CRM system.

Selection Criteria

  • Current and valid driving licence
  • Good Communication; language and literacy skills
  • Hungry sales mentality
  • Presentable appearance
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Mechanical qualifications/knowledge and aptitude highly regarded
  • Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays
  • Possess the background skills to become an immediate asset
  • Knowledge of lubrication systems desirable
