Flow Controls

VARIABLE PRIORITY FLOW CONTROL VALVES

2FV-2V

Flows up to 114l/min

Pressures up to 250 bar

Webtec priority flow controls measure the pressure difference across an orifice to determine the desired position of the valve's metering spool. If the flow increases then an increase in pressure drop across the orifice signals the metering spool to further restrict the flow so that the desired priority flow setting is maintained. Typical applications are for maintaining flow to a vehicle's hydraulic steering circuit.

ADVANTAGES

PRECISE VARIATION OF PRIORITY FLOW

Valves are supplied with an accurate hand dial control that allows for predetermined priority control.

PRESSURE COMPENSATED PRIORITY FLOW

Units provide pressure compensated flow in both priority & bypass flow paths.

PRIORITY PRESSURE RELIEF

Valves can be supplied with an adjustable pressure relief situated on the priority flow path.

BSP PIPE LINE MOUNTING

Units are supplied with BSP ports for ease of mounting.

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Filtering

It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system.
