ADVANTAGES
THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED OPERATION
The engine coolant sensor signals when it is necessary for the cooling fan to start or stop. Ideally the sensor is placed within the top hose area of the engine cooling system. Hysteresis between on & off modes is approximately 2ºC.
MODULATED FAN SPEED CONTROL
To ensure the cooling fan operates at optimum speed the control is modulated between
0 & 3000 rpm
VARIABLE ENGINE SPEED TO FAN SPEED
Varying the combination of pump & motor sizes means it is possible to arrive at the correct engine to fan speed ratio for optimum performance.
CUSTOM DESIGNED INSTALLATIONS
The switching valve can be supplied as free standing or flange mounted onto the fan pump outlet port. The type & position of temperature sensor can be determined for any particular installation.

Temperature
Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.
Filtering
It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system. |
