MAXIFLOW SPIN ON FILTER FOR RETURN OR SUCTION

MXA

Flows up to 360l/min

Pressures up to 7 bar

Maxiflow spin on filters comprise a glass fibre composite media through which oil is passed when leaving or returning to the reservoir. The filter elements are easily removed when new elements need to be fitted. Element condition can be determined by visual indicators. The discarded element or 'can' will always contain some fluid & should therefore be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Operation

When selecting a filter, please consider the contamination ingression rate, which can be determined by the number of actuators, pumps or motors used within a system, the required fluid cleanliness of all system components and the desired maintenance intervals. Filtration requirements for each system are unique, so it is recommended that systems are regularly monitored to determine optimum levels of filtration.
