Temperature
Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.
Operation
When selecting a filter, please consider the contamination ingression rate, which
can be determined by the number of actuators, pumps or motors used within a system, the required fluid cleanliness of all system components and the desired maintenance intervals. Filtration requirements for each system are unique, so it is recommended that systems are regularly monitored to determine optimum levels of filtration. |
