MULTIFLOW TANK TOP MOUNTED RETURN LINE FILTER

MFA

Flows up to 500l/min

Pressures up to 7 bar

Multiflow tank top filters comprise a glass fibre composite media through which oil is passed when returning to the reservoir. Element condition can be determined by visual indicators. The element can be removed from the top of the filter assembly thereby minimising spillage or loss of fluid.

ADVANTAGES

MULTIFLOW PROTECTION

Units provide a reliable method of return line filtration with the oil discharged directly into the reservoir.

UNITS AVAILABLE WITH ELEMENT INDICATORS

Indicators, visual or electrical, are available to signal when the filter element is blocking & requires changing.

TANK TOP MOUNTING FLANGE

Units are supplied as tank top gasket mounted assemblies with BSP return line inlet port.

CHOICE OF ELEMENTS

Elements are available in ratings from 10 to 50 micron & can be changed with minimum loss of fluid.

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Operation

When selecting a filter, please consider the contamination ingression rate, which can be determined by the number of actuators, pumps or motors used within a system, the required fluid cleanliness of all system components and the desired maintenance intervals. Filtration requirements for each system are unique, so it is recommended that systems are regularly monitored to determine optimum levels of filtration.
