Directional Valves

MANUALLY OPERATED DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVES

LVD-K10

Flows up to 45 l/min

Pressures up to 350 bar

Parker directional control valves comprise of a steel spool sliding within a cast iron body. The position of the spool determines which flow path the oil can take & therefore which direction of motion is operated. Typical applications are where a manual input is needed to effect a rapid change in the direction of an actuator or function.

ADVANTAGES

INTEGRAL RELIEF VALVE INLET SECTION

Units are supplied complete with relief valve built into the valve's inlet section and pressure port load checks.

SPRING OR DETENTED CONTROL OPTIONS

Spool functions can be spring centred, spring offset or detented together with optional 'float' facility.

ALL SPOOL OPTIONS AVAILABLE

Extensive range of spool options are available with & without load port reliefs, pilot operated non-return valves or special metering options.

SECTIONAL CONSTRUCTION

Sectional construction allows for flexibility in design. Mid inlet sections & flow control sections are also available.

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Filtering

It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system.
