Hy-pro cross line relief valves comprise two valves within one body, each valve containing a spool, the position of which is controlled by a spring working against a pilot pressure signal. As the system pressure rises the valve will lift & relieve to maintain the required pressure setting. Typical applications are when system pressures need to be maintained or limited on both sides of a circuit such as reversible transmission systems.

Valves comprise of two relief cartridges providing fast acting protection for both system lines.

ROBUST DESIGN

Valves use a relatively large pilot control orifice which can avoid problems with contaminated fluids.

IN-LINE MOUNTING

Units are supplied with 'in-line' BSP ports from 3/8" to 3/4".

suitable for flows up to 36 litres per
minute and adjustable up to a
maximum of 210 bar

Cross line mounted 1/2" BSP relief valve
suitable for flows up to 55 litres per
minute and adjustable up to a
maximum of 210 bar

Cross line mounted 3/4" BSP relief valve
suitable for flows up to 100 litres per
minute and adjustable up to a
maximum of 210 bar

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Filtering

It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system.
