Diverter Valves

MANUAL OR ELECTRIC 6 PORT DIVERTER VALVES

DV3 6

Flows up to 80l/min

Pressures up to 250 bar

Hy-pro diverter valves comprise of a steel spool sliding within a cast iron body. The position of the spool determines which flow path the oil can take & therefore which direction of motion is required. Typical applications are where a control input is needed to effect a rapid change from a parallel piped hydraulic system to a series piped system or circuit, such as 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive hydrostatic transmission.

ADVANTAGES

SERIES TO PARALLEL SWITCHING

Six port diverter valve to provide changeover from series to parallel circuit configuration or can allow two separate circuits to be controlled from one hydraulic source.

SPRING OR DETENTED ACTION

Manual units can be supplied with detent or spring offset controlled spools.

BSP PIPE LINE MOUNTING

Units are supplied with BSP ports for ease of mounting.

MANUAL OR ELECTRIC OPERATION

Units can also be supplied for either 12V or 24 V DC supply.

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Filtering

It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system.
