Duplomatic pilot operated non return valves, sometimes referred to as pilot operated check valves, comprise of a poppet that is held onto its seat by a spring & hydraulic pressure. The valve is piloted by an external pressure in the other service port that overcomes the normal spring & hydraulic pressure to open. Typical applications are for holding loaded actuators in position.

Temperature
Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.
Filtering
It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system. |
