Ring Main Hydraulic Power Packs
The hydraulic power units pictured below, powered two separate hydraulic ring mains. Branbh Hydraulic Systems provided design, manufacture, installation and commissioning services.
The unit on the left supplied a hydraulic ring main with Skydrol LD4 at flow rates of up to 180lpm and pressure of 420 bar. Constant pressure in the ring main was achieved by varying the speed of the pump motors, allowing pump flow to match ring main demand.
The unit on the right supplied a mineral oil ring main at flow rates of up to 180 lpm and pressures of 350 bar. It uses conventional pressure compensated pumps to maintain a constant pressure. |
