Site Service Engineer

A skilled hydraulic Site Service Engineer is required to join a team installing and servicing hydraulic systems for a varied and widespread customer base.

The successful applicant will require the following skill base:

• The ability to read and understand basic hydraulic circuits & technical drawings.
• Plan a hydraulic or similar system layout from a basic hydraulic circuit, general arrangement drawing or supplied information.
• Arrange materials and support for external projects.
• To organise tooling requirements for external projects.
• Liaise with the Project Engineer/internal staff to ensure the build is as per the customer requirements.
• To use various hand and power tools and be aware of all safety aspects concerning their use. This will include the use of static machines such as Pillar Drills, Surface Grinders and Lathes. On-site this may also include machines such as a Chop Saw, Hose Swager, Pipe benders, pipe forming machine and customer equipment.
• To ensure all documentation is completed, returned and any excess parts highlighted to the relevant personnel.

Applicants with the ability to diagnose hydraulic faults, bend pipe, weld and with fitting experience are preferable.
