Hydraulic Fitter

A skilled hydraulic fitter is required to join a team in the build of hydraulic power packs. Duties to include:  

• The ability to read and understand Basic Hydraulic Circuits.
• Have the ability to read and work to Technical Drawings, achieving a high standard of production to tight tolerances.
• Pipe fitting and pipe bending.
• Must have the ability to use various hand and power tools and be aware of all safety aspects concerning their use. This will include the use of static machines such as Pillar Drills, Surface Grinders and Lathes.
• The use of welding equipment Electric Arc and Mig.
• Basic electrical work such as wiring motors for test purposes and wiring of basic electrical panels
• Preparing hydraulic power packs for test to a level of initial pressure testing.
