February 2008 - Group HES Expand HQ

A successful new distribution agreement has led hydraulic specialists Group HES Ltd to take on an additional warehouse facility close to their Gloucester head office.

The exclusive distribution deal with Comer Industries only began in September last year but already demand has created a need for additional workshop space for orders to be completed.

The new unit, located at Innsworth Technology Park is the latest addition to the company which incorporates hydraulic component specialists Hydraulic Equipment Supermarkets Ltd, system builders Branch Hydraulic Systems Ltd and power transmission component experts HES Tractec Ltd.

The expansion will allow the company to cope with increasing demand for Comer planetary gearboxes, driveshafts, Axial piston pumps and motors.

Stuart Diesel, Managing Director of Group HES Ltd said: "Hydraulic Equipment Supermarkets have had a presence in Innsworth since 1966. As our business has grown we have been fortunate that the Technology Park has offered us all of the facilities we require. When the company first moved here we had a unit of around 1500sq ft, we now have three units totalling over 27,000 sq ft."
